Leonie Profit - Lic.Ac., MBAcC
Leonie
is a member of the British
Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and graduated with a First class
B.A. (Hons) degree from the College
of Traditional Acupuncture. She went on to work at the
prestigious Kite clinic in London, one of the UK's leading
acupuncture practices, and now runs her own practice in the City of
London.
She has a keen interest in providing the highest level of care to her patients and has continued to develop her skills in Classical acupuncture through training with Nora Franglen, founder of the School of Five Element Acupuncture, and in Facial acupuncture with Virginia Doran, a renowned New York-based specialist.
Leonie is also qualified in Tui Na, an ancient and versatile massage technique, traditionally used for both musculo-skeletal conditions and internal issues such as poor digestion. In her practice Leonie uses it as a complement to acupuncture treatment and to treat those who are uncomfortable with needles.
She is a firm believer in bringing Eastern and Western medicine together where this can enhance care for patients, and works with Mr Luciano Nardo, Consultant in Gynaecology, Reproductive medicine and Surgery and founder of the Gyne Health clinic, to provide a comprehensive approach to fertility and gynaecological health related issues.
Whatever the reason for coming for acupuncture, Leonie focuses on
each individual's needs and works together with her patients to
develop a comprehensive treatment plan, incorporating lifestyle and
nutritional advice, to restore emotional and physical well-being.
